Florida’s example also shows how we Republicans can embrace, rather than limit, mail-in ballots and early voting. Gov. DeSantis, who sailed to re-election, recently made this case. Other states should follow Florida’s example and reject the false choice between ballot access and election integrity. The 2022 elections show that we can — and should — have both. And our fellow Republicans can win—even in a hotly contested state like Florida — by taking advantage of these rules.
